Well since he only just passed away yesterday I suppose now is a good time to answer these questions.

Peter Gabriel McCann

Born 1st of September 1928 in Chivilcoy, Argentina.

Unfortunately I've never been into family history and don't remember much about my grandparents.

Memories include watching Dave Allen and the Two Ronnies on TV with him. Hearing him recite some of his favourite poems

"Under a spreading chestnut tree,

the village Smithy stands ..."

and

"Pangur Ban my cat and I ..."

I can also remember my mother complaining about how he was more Irish than the Irish
